Enter Meatball Recipe to Win a Television Appearance!

MAFIAoZA’s Italian Festival SAUCE & MEATBALL Contest

All Contestants must have their entry
in an insulated container at the Judging Booth

between 4:30 and 5pm on Saturday, October 3, 2009.

MAFIAoZA’s is not responsible for any container submitted.

Sauces and Meatballs must be entered separately and in separate containers.

Amounts to make:  Meatballs (5) - Sauce (1 Quart)

 

Definitions:

• Sauces: Any Red, White or Green Sauce is acceptable.

• Meatball: A meatball is a ball of ground meat where the meat is rolled into a ball along with other ingredients, such as bread or breadcrumbs, minced onion, various spices, and possibly eggs, rolled together by hand, and cooked by frying, baking, steaming, or braising in sauce.

Rules:

• Meatballs may have sauce in the container to keep them moist.

• There will be a panel of three judges selected by MAFIAoZA’s.

• The decision of the judging panel is absolute and final.  The judging panel reserves the right to refuse an entry if they believe it to be in the best interest of the event or a health concern.

• The three judges will award first and second place. There will be no award for third, because no one wants to be in last place.

First place will receive an award and a spot on a local TV channel as winner to demonstrate the winning recipes.
