Happy Anniversary, Suzan!

The Merchant's Association celebrated Suzan Doidge's 1st anniversary as Executive Director of the Chamber at their November meeting with an update of all that's been accomplished in a year, a certificate of appreciation from the Board of Directors, a cake, and two "Shop The Villages of Mountain Brook" coffee mugs from the Chamber online store. 

Since taking the position, Suzan has overseen a new "Welcome to Mountain Brook" television and print marketing campaign, initiated monthly merchant's meetings, and organized two successful luncheons on healthcare reform and banking practices, along with numerous educational seminars.  Communication has also  improved via digital innovations including a monthly enewsletter, Twitter, a blog, an improved website, and a Facebook Fan page.  A new "Welcome to Mountain Brook" guidebook will soon be released as part of the marketing campaign including maps and lists of merchants to welcome visitors and to encourage shopping with Mountain Brook's unique merchants.  Thank you Suzan!
