President Barack Obama gave BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama a less than welcomed shout out during a nationally televised address Wednesday, which drew a rebuttal Thursday.BlueCross Executive Director of Governmental Affairs Robin Stone responded with humor to Obama’s mention of Alabama having one health insurance provider with 90 percent of the market share. Obama used Alabama as an example of the need for greater competition in the insurance industry.
