Decadent is one way to describe the beloved English Village restaurant that is Chez Lulu. There is a bordello-like feeling in furnishings and decor -- red paint on the ceilings, shimmering, crushed-velvet pillows in the oh-so-visible window seats, little mermaid sculptures. Colorful hanging lamps (and Christmas lights clearly out of season) illuminate the trio of giant papier-mache heads in the corner between the front door and the bar--the bistro mascot Madame Lulu joined by the "American Gothic" couple."
